How to Self-Measure For Your Kilt

We have many years experience in making kilts fit and hang the way they should. Using the guide on this page you can measure yourself to provide the staff at Ben Wyvis Kilts with the details they will require to hire or make you a kilt. Alternatively you can always pop into the shop and have the measurements taken in person.

The measurements that we will require to supply a full Highland Dress outfit are as follows (please let us know if your measurements are given in inches or cm):

A. Shoulder to Cuff
B. Chest
C. Natural Waist - firm
D. Length of Kilt - from C to top of Knee
E. Height from Head to Toe
F. Shoe Size
G. Collar Size

A Note on Kilt Lengths

Your height should correspond roughly to the following kilt lengths (D):

5'7"	length 22.5"
5'8"	23"
5'9"	23.5"
5'10"	24"
5'11"	24.5"
6'0"	25
