Experienced kilt makers

All of our kilts are entirely hand sewn from start to finish. Using traditional method’s all of our kilt makers are based in our store and are highly trained in kilt craftmanship. All of our made to measure kilts are full 8 yard kilts from either 13oz or 16oz pure worsted wool with several thousands of tartans to choose from. We also hold an extensive range of jackets and accessories including sporrans, shoes, belts and sgian dubhs to complement your perfect outfit.

At Ben Wyvis Kilts, we host one of Scotland’s largest selections of made to measure Highland wear from custom kilt outfit’s to individual items and accessories. We offer an extensive range of tartans, tweeds and cloths available as part of our fully bespoke service; all of our kilts being hand sewn in store by one of our experienced kilt makers. In addition to a vast range of traditional clan stock tartans, we also offer modern design options including custom and special weaves.

Wedding hire

At Ben Wyvis Kilts, we offer an extensive hire range of over 10 tartans to choose from across 4 alternative outfit styles; including our own exclusive ‘Ben Wyvis Thistle’ tartan. Specializing in wedding hire and formal events, this showcases a wide range of both modern and traditional styles; including a range of outfits for children. All of our kilt hire packages are held in store allowing us to accommodate last minute bookings.
