Measuring advice:
- Chest: measure around the chest at under-arm height, while wearing a shirt or t-shirt, with your arms by your side.
- Waist: measure around the waist at roughly naval height if this is to wear with a kilt - in line with the top of the hips. *This is higher than where your trousers sit*. Or along the waist where your trousers sit if for wearing with standard trousers.
- Back length: wearing a shirt, measure from the bottom of the collar to where you want the waistcoat to sit. This is a tricky measurement to take, so give us your height as well so we can check it.
Let us know if the waistcoat is for wearing with a high-waisted kilt or trews or low-waisted conventional trousers.
Let us know if you need a longer length, to match conventional trousers, rather than high-waisted kilts or trews. It is recommended, where possible, to take your waist measurement over your kilt, at the high point where it sits. However, if this is not possible we can factor this in. If it's to be worn with conventional trousers, take your waist measurement at the usual height.
